STUDIO MUSIC PRODUCTION
“Whether or not you’re collaborating, find some trusted critical ears – preferably someone who can deliver their criticism constructively – and get in the habit of running things by them. A lot of people surround themselves with yes men and their sound develops much more slowly as a result.
“As an artist, you have to be sensitive enough to express yourself authentically, but you also need to be able to take criticism in stride. It may seem counter-intuitive, but you’ll do yourself a massive favour by inviting critique from people who understand your aesthetic aims.”
It is good to always try to get feedbacks from people to know there claims on the msuic, infact it is always best to get your feedbacks from people who dont really like music, i remember 5 years ago, when i produced a song, and then i wanted to know how good the production is, so i decided to play the track to street peeps, and do you know what, (i was ready to hear the most discouraging words because there are not music fanatics) but they were the music is nice, and some passerby picked up there break dance and started competition performance right there on the street with the track i wanted to get feedback from people from, it is very easy, if a song is palatable to listening, people would love it, but if not palatable, dont feel bad, just alwasy feel encouraged and try and sitback and start the production again with some guide from other producers, or if you need help you can contact TAJ music team
